My father and his brothers were students of martial art culture in Giacampo, which was a Japanese version of Shaolin Kung Fu. We all studied Shaolin, Shaolin, Chureng,Giacampo every weekend. I didn't really associate that with men as much but it does play into the idea that a lot of masculinity is about being a defender maybe. So if I was to ask for like a stereotype of a man in Malaysia, white sleeveless top. Belly shorts. Belly out. He's got a belly on him. Quick to anger. Oh. It's a quick to get annoyed and eating at a sort of coffee shop eating like noodles
