The Flood of the Andes
In the epic of Gilgamesh, Butnapishtim was said to have built a big boat so that he could survive a world-ending flood. The Andes mountains average 13,000 feet in height. Costco, the capital of the Incan Empire, is itself over two miles high at 11,200 feet. Next week we head back to the brewing war between the Trojans and the Greeks.
