i'd like us to think a bit about the effects of this secular surge. i'm one of the things that you suggest in the book, which i thought was quite intriguing. There is no equivalent of a religious congregation for a secular population. So there's always a challenge to mobilize them. But as you noted, there's the second challenge, which is not just a matter of the monotoneesarily coming together on a regular basis but not having a share in identity.
