The Importance of the Divine Individual

I think we make a big mistake by looking at our culture as being based on power and tyranny. There's something absolutely fundamental, truly ethical right at its core that has to do with the proper aim or fair play. This is partly why I've been arguing about religion with Sam Harris. We're dreaming up the perfect individual that's a ghostly image inside the hierarchy of what people want you to be.
