Prometheus, the Myth of Fire

Prometheus is the creator of mankind, which explains why he's so philanthropic. He also saves mankind from the flood when the other gods would have destroyed them. The most famous in antiquity, and probably most famous to this day, is the myth of fire. In these myths, though, they differ from version to version, and the details are never exactly the same.
