Etsy Changes

When Etsy changes something so integral to what we as sellers are doing, do you direct previous customers on how to update the calculator in the spreadsheets? Or do you create a whole new one? It kind of depends on what the change is. The Canadian tax change this summer because that needed a brand new template, then that was a new purchase. But if you if you want my email list and you'd already purchased, then I kind of gave it quite a big discount.
