The Workers Party for the Political Emancipation of Russia

Sars grew out of a worker education circle in minsk that was dubbed the workers party for the political emancipation of russia. Founded in 18 95, it was specifically focused on the jewish community inside the Russian empire. They believed first and foremost, the revolutionary task was to overthrow the czar. What better way to fight the encroaching tyranny of capitalism than overthrowing the state?
