Pakistan lost East Pakistan on December 16th 1971. The day a Yukon imposed the presidential system is the day his Bengali law minister, Justice retired Muhammad Ibrahim warned him that this would lead to the breakup of Pakistan. Sheikh Maji Buraman and the people of East Pakistan vehemently supported Fat Manjana in the 1965 presidential elections. But a Yukon maligned the mother of the nation and rigged the elections to retain power. Bengal was at the forefront of the Pakistan movement. Yet the role is completely whitewashed in our history books.
