The Cost of Following Jesus
If you're going to follow Jesus, understand what it's going to cost you. He then illustrates the two laws of heaven and the first two covenants we make in the temple as part of our endowment room. You're going to have to let go of this world in order to follow Christ all the way. And he also adds a footnote to verse 27 after saying that if you don't bear your cross and come after me, you cannot be my disciple.
