Nastalgia is a longing for, or amissing for one's personal past. Some of the items on the inventory are really conceptual or abstract. Others are more concrete, missing toys and pets that you had in your former days. We can have retrospective comprehension or interpretation of our memories that depends upon what purpose we're trying to serve in our present.
