How to Tell a Story to Your Analysers
I find that if I'm going to read a 30 minute piece on how a team played, I might as well just watch the first half at double speed. If you can present three really nice little stories in a row, package up and say, these are the things I think this team are doing, then your job as an analyst is probably complete. But it's hard to do. And again, this comes back to what we were saying before, right? If you give your analysts like five opposition and games to watch and then clip up, et cetera, they're not necessarily thinking about the overall picture.
