What Is the Difference Between a Citizenship and a Political Identity?
People no longer live in a place because they have political times with it. They choose which of the different political groups you feel represents your ideals, and you join that one,. And your roommate or your spouse, or your neighbors next door might have picked a different one. So suddenly everywhere on earth is commuting distance. It's perfectly functional for there to be multiple legal systems with overlapping jurisdiction. Right now, our countries aren't accountable that way because they have citizens by default.
