What Is a Model?
Economics tends to use math as a way to describe very human driven processes. A model is just an equation that's used to represent some phenomenon or system. The game organ trail, for instance, uses a model to calculate how food is consumed during a treck. Models can also be predictive - the ability to model and then predict economies.
