The Tension Between Future Proofing and Ensuring That the Student Experience Remains Coherent and Attractive

The tension between future proofing and ensuring that the student experience remains something coherent and attractive can be very difficult. And yet you do, I think, need to be radical. So part of our mission is to support other universities in advancing technology for learning and online education. It would never happen at our institution. Now if we fast forward to post-pandemic, I think institutions are coming to us and they're saying, help us. There's a responsibility to do something or we're seeing a lot of institutions closing down or merging.
