The risk of long-term effects, I think is always a concern and should be taken seriously. But it's also really tough to say because a lot of times you can have a situation where someone like happens to start antidepressants and then something also changes around the same time. It does seem like it's just going to be really hard to pick these things up without doing a very large experiment.
