Baby crickets don't hang out with their parents so there isn't a lot of calling between parent and baby the way there are for some animal species. And by the time they hatch out generally the adults have either died off or are nowhere around. There are one or two species of cricket where the eggs are actually laid in a burrow, but that's quite rare.
