There was a sense of these people really are dangerous. You know, we've got to save Afghan women from the Taliban as if Afghan men were also not suffering. They're all such despicable quote unquote and unsympathetic and dangerous figures that I think there's a kind of backing off of the politics too. The more one backs off, the less one can take responsibility.
