How Did It Recover From That Civil War?
In 19 54, the supreme court said legal segregation by ace is unconstitutional. How did it recover from that? It took a long time. And i think if you roll the clock forward, remember there was a civil war with 80 years of legal segregation. In 19 57, a rather brave judge in arkansas, in little rock, said, you must take these nine black students and allow them to enter central high school and all white school. The country had awakened to the injustice of segregation. But those were nine judges. You could have had 900 judges.
