Are You Getting a Quantum Field Description of the Universe?

We have a description of the universe in terms of quantum fields. For higher energies, like what happens inside the large hayjorn colider, and going back to the early moments of the universe, we can describe that in terms ofquantum fields. Beyond that, we don't know. And one of the reasons we don't knows is that we don't understand how gravity works in a quantum senses. So we're really pretty clueless about a sort of quantum picture of the universe when gravity was very important early on.
