The harder something is to attain, the more we value it. I'd written down one of my goals was to be a New York Times bestselling author. It took about 12 more years to do that after high school. And when I accomplished that goal, the next year was one of the most depressing. We can't just say this is the end and then figure it out then; we should have like, this is this year's goal plus four years plus.
