Is Green Hydrogen a Good Source of Energy?

There's about 90 million tons of pure hydrogen and about another 30 million tons of synthetic gases. High voltage direct current transmission is loses only 3.3 to 3.5% of energy for 1000 kilometers of delivery. We're not going to have as much in the same places that we need it for ammonia, for fertilizer, or hydrogen-sourced fertilizers.
