The Krma Theory of Morality

The Kārma doctrine requires that a person's own character be his own destiny. Those actions that are good result in future happiness and well-being, while bad ones produce only suffering. Buddha denied there is any metaphysical distinction between self and others. Concern for others and concern for oneself are thus one and the same.
