Roblox - The Greatest Modern Example of the Hangout Game

Roblox takes a lot of the best lessons from Minecraft and of sandbox games and they actually turn it into Roblox itself as a platform. In some ways you can look at it and you're like this is a complete kids game or whatever it might be but it also might look like an early form of a YouTube where there's all these different games that are completely being created by users. I think for kids again atomized by the pandemic in a certain sense but also just sort of Atomized by the realities of modern life right there's just not as much physical social interaction in the modern world as there was maybe when I was growing up.
