Zoom's Role in the Pandemic
Virtual spaces can create opportunities, perhaps not immediately possible in physical meetings. The virtual allows a possibility of that crossing of oceans and time zones with a regularity otherwise only in the dreams of those who love travel. It reminds us again that there is not quite human face to face interaction even as it's also precisely that. We're haunted by the leaning over image of ourselves as well as our interlockers. Are we smiling enough? Is our face too rigid? Questions which occur only occasionally in the physical sphere that faces with immediacy in the virtual.
