Witch Trials and Invisible Evidence
The English town of Berry Sedadmans was well known for witch trials in the 17th century. Two elderly women were put on trial, accused of using magic to make children vomit sharp needles and causing property damage among the livestock. The judge's decision to allow this form of evidence doomed at least 25 people to their death.
