The Importance of Tracking Delivery Times
The first thing you need to do is just start tracking what these delivery times are. You can still track and trend manually, even though it just takes a little bit more time. We all kind of get the silo mentality. Here's our policy. You have to follow our policy. And there's a lot of kids playing with the same toys. So we've got to make sure that Hospital A who's using the toys on Monday has time to adequately clean them before they get picked up. But that's not always possible due to timing of surgeon cases or vendor inventory.
