The Pain Doctor's Job Is to Help Patients See the Bigger Picture

There's an emotional component to pain, right? Is this complex, emotional, subjective experience. And so it's almost like we should treat emotions in the same way that you're treating pain. They have a self reported measure. I'm going to reflect back my understanding, acknowledge that that emotion and let them know, he i understand where you're coming from.
