The Difference Between Controlled Experiments and Naturalistic Decision Making?
In naturalistic decision making, people make decisions not by themselves in a laboratory and are just staring at a screen. They perform tasks that don't have a right answer; they work on ill defined problems where ther the goals aren't clear. Canyou: We're trying to understand decision making and sense making in natural settings with all of the messytextual variables that the real world throws at us. And different people will have the same kinds of experience, but draw lessons from it for their own purposes.
