I'm fascinated by the idea of taking something inanimate and giving it, you know, a spirit and a voice. As a performer, as a comedian, I'm really sort of interested in these other performance traditions. The thing that's interesting about the objects and interesting about puppetry in general is you don't get to tell them what to do. You're constrained by the physical nature of the puppet in terms of what it can, what it's capable of.
