Obi-Wan has such faith in the Republic that he just assumes Dooku's lying to him. Order 66 wipes them all out. Anakin I think is... He doesn't feel like he's a Qui-Gon, but there's something in Obi-Wan that he doesn't kill him either. Like, when they're fighting in the Chancellor's Throne Room, like, we're on the ship, right? In episode three, he didn't kill Obi-Wan, he just kind of knocks him out. But yeah, it's funny how kind of the truth has been out there for years.
