How to Be an Artist Recruitment Consultant

As an ANR, you usually like direct to the artists or the writer or producer. For me, it's consulting started because I was working with independent artists. So my job was kind of like to help facilitate those sessions or even help them get a label deal or publishing deal and kind of develop that side of them. Right now, it's odd because I actually do work with some artists who are on a record label. They do have their own ANRs at the label. And with me as a consultant, I'm just kind of like an extension to kind of help out more where she can.
