The extensive reading foundation has been able to determine that we learn best at a high level comprehension, specifically 98%. That's what they say their research shows is that that's a sweet spot. Reading between a 90 to 98% level comprehension, they refer to this as an intensive reading. This is a little bit slower. There's going to be maybe one new word in every like 10 to 20, 30. And then reading below 90% comprehension, reading pain. We've all been there at some point, you know, you could take an hour going through a paragraph and not sure what you read by the time you're done. But yeah, it's a very popular method right now.
