The Relationship Between Liberalism and the Far Right
Liberal democracy is, as marks discerned, an instrument of bourgeois class rule. But it also relies upon a degree of popular legitimacy. That means that groups historically excluded from political and cultural institutions are able to win at least temporarily concessions. When settler hegemany is challenged by leftest movements, the far right fights for reinforcement of settler state power. And so we see that kind of third relationship that the three way fight gets at there.
