The Future of War

China's political structure is fundamentally very long term oriented. It allows them to think not about a knockout blow within the term of one politician or one general, but instead how do we really get into a better position over the course of 100 years or 1000 years? And I think that’s guiding a lot of their military thinking in ways that are just kind of unthinkable in the United States.
