Sally Kohn: In order for me to be who I want to be with men, I started to treat myself as if I were misbehaving and trying to reconcile like who's wrong here. The expectation that men and women are supposed to be the same. And therefore, when we're not like them, we're misbehaving, right? They have a little more forgiveness than we do but they can get so mad and bitter thinking that we're disempowering them on purpose,. That we're after them. For the most part, we're just reacting from fear and frustration and they don't know that.
