The Draw Knife and the Butterfly Effect
A draw knife is not a tool that you can use in the same way as a lathe which is a machine. A draw knife requires engagement with every stroke. You're constantly moving constantly making tiny unconscious judgment calls about what your hands are doing how your hands are engaging the tool to engage the edge in the material. And a lathe is different a lathe can just be a machine right just buzzing around making predictable cylinders because of the nature of the jiggingright?
