What's the Global Situation?
We passed 8 billion inhabitants on planet Earth in November last year. Birth rates are going down here and there, but the global situation is different. The United Nations forecast that we will probably end up at the end of this century with about 10 and a half billion people. In order for us to reproduce ourselves, a man and a woman need to have, on average, 2.1 children.
