RUNX-1 Is Associated With TAM and MLDS Pathogenesis
Trisomy-21 has been implicated in the evolution of TAM to MLDS, though its exact role is still opaque. Several chromosome 21 genes have been reported to play a part in leukemogenesis. Researchers found that expression of RUNX-1A was elevated in MLDS and Trisomy-21 cell samples.
