The State Is Just a Covenant Between a Lot of People

I'm not an expert in marriage. I've been married all of once, for forty two years. But if you go back to the age of out on the frontier, a man and a woman get married and they have a family, they need each other. If there's a sinew that binds you, it's a combined responsibility for the children of the farm. You can't survive alone. And i think that if people feel that that responsibility, i sometimes talk about marriage. It is something that should be regarded as aspiration.
