The Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, and Deng Xiaoping?
Deng Xiaoping was brought in to start fixing things after the Leap Forward. He really achieved power as a paramount leader after Mao's death. By 1978, it's Deng Xiaoping who's basically taken the reins and put his people in key positions. Xi Jinping comes in about 10 years ago, right? That's when he takes over as the paramount leader is that the framing? 2012, yeah. And then just one of the legal terms is technically the president of the People's Republic of China had a term limit. Not actually officially written down is just a norm and he's busted that.
