The Importance of Keeping Toronto Bike Lanes a Wedge Issue
A lot of bike lanes got built during John Tory's time as mayor because he is more practical, you know, he's more of a kind of old school conservative. But Keep Toronto Moving is literally just well supposed to be a nonprofit grassroots organization that wants to get rid of bike lanes. They have a whole bunch of stuff on their website about how Toronto is really busy and crowded and gridlock. It wouldn't surprise me if it was some of these same people who started the group.
