Judith's Mission Didn't Stop With the Bolivia Trip
Judith Feith, the widow of a man who died in an airplane crash on July 5, 1985, appeared on "Today" show. She was trying to raise money and funds for another search expedition after her husband's death. But she found out that they had been bungled by the Bolivian government. They didn't give them proper equipment or food; one member developed severe altitude sickness. The team only brought two gallons of coolad, their own stoves and fuel. It took three days to dig through 30 feet of snow to find the flight recorders.
