How to Avoid Doing Damage to God's Purpose

A commensurate situation in our context would be if some government has said that Christians may not evangelize their citizens. So it's a we must obey God rather than man kind of a situation. Now in this case, Rahab is protecting innocent life and those innocent lives are doing God's will. But what if someone in their conscience doesn't feel that way? I would encourage them to try to avoid doing damage like agreeing. That would be to dishonor God.
