The Importance of Good Communication Between Nurses and Doctors
Poor communication is what it comes down to, specifically between nurses and doctors that leads to poor patient outcomes. I think it happens at all levels. There's also often a disconnect. Someone's putting in orders from one team, but the team I'm supposed to talk to about this patient specifically who's managing their care is not aware of what's going on. So communications between those different teams is really important.
