Stoicism trains us not to judge any of these events as either good or bad in themselves. The discipline of assent corresponds to the topic of logic and stoicism because it involves the acquisition and integration of knowledge. It is one of the Stoic spiritual practices that teaches us how to defend our inner citadel.
