If you're a materialist, it makes you even more desperate to have it. Even though the world is fallen, there issch still much beauty in the world. Somebody, some people live a living hell. But if somebody's existing in this world in fairly typical circumstances, there're still a lot of things to be thankful for and to have joy in.
