I Loved Film as a Child
"I was raised in a pretty complicated atmosphere. I loved film as a child," he says. "It's mostly what I've been doing for the whole of my life." The actor turned down some football scholarships to go instead and study theater in Chicago. He is now working on his first TV series, which premieres this month at 8 p.m. ET/PT; it will be available on PBS stations later this year.
