Is There a Perfect Being in the Process of Creation?

Trent Doherty: It just seems really surprising that God would use in his very creative act this process which is rife with suffering and languishing. To me, this is probably the strongest version of the problem of evil. I don't even know where to take Trent's approach to the problem ofevil so seriously. He says we may have to look at other resources in order to explain the data.
