Whitehouse: Is there some utility in having a just full on January stick style hearing? He says if you are a consortium of big special interests that have spent more than half a billion dollars to get control over the Supreme Court, the last thing you want is to have the legitimacy of your captured court question. Whitehouse: There's going to be an enormous effort to say, move along folks, nothing to see here. This is all perfectly normal. You see these justices just immensely invested in claiming their own legitimacy without looking at the real problems they face.
