South Africa has one of the world's most glaring income inequality problems. McKinsey partners in there were making $1 million a year or more driving Lamborghinis, porches and Ferraris. This coincided with the rise of this phenomenon in South Africa called state capture. The Gupta brothers are closely tied to former president Jacob Zuma.
